The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Iloilo Chapter is planning to host another oathtaking ceremony this year to welcome the new civil engineers who passed the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Civil Engineers on April 23-24, 2023.
Following a successful activity organized last January 28, 2023 in the iconic Iloilo Convention Center, the PICE Iloilo Chapter Board of Directors through Chapter President, Engr. Mary Earl Daryl A. Grio will be coordinating with the Professional Regulation Commission and express the chapter’s interest of hosting an oathtaking cum induction of new PICE members some time in June 2023.
During the January ceremony hosted by PICE Iloilo Chapter, 198 civil engineers took their oath of profession and were formally inducted as members of the PICE.
Their oath of profession was led by Dr. Pericles Dakay, member of the Professional Board of Civil Engineering while an inspirational message was delivered by Engr. Arecio Casing, Jr., CESO IV, OIC-Regional Director of the National Economic and Development Authority VI.
New civil engineers who recently passed the board examination last April as well as those who wish to become members of the PICE are welcome to participate in the activity. Pre-registration will be for a limited time only until May 5, 2023. Note that those who are pre-registered will be given priority to participate.
