Engr. Antonio Belarga was recognized as the Most Outstanding Alumnus of Western Institute of Technology (WIT) on February 3, 2024 as part of the educational institution’s 60th Anniversary Celebration.

Engr. Belarga, who served most of his career in the civil service at the Philippine Ports Authority, is among the most active members of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) having served as Chapter President as well as Regional Coordinator.
In 2021, he was conferred with PICE Fellowship, a title given only to members who have been consistently active for 20 years including two years of presidency within a chapter as well as valuable contribution to the civil engineering field. Engr. Belarga is one of the only four fellows belonging to the PICE Iloilo Chapter.
In addition, Engr. Belarga is a certified professional engineer by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and holds the title of ASEAN Engineer.
