
The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) – Iloilo Chapter will be going south this October 30, 2022, Sunday at 7:00 AM as it kicks of the opening of the Civil Engineering Month with a bicycling event.
Interested bicyclists are invited to join the fun ride event that will be held in the Municipality of Miagao, Iloilo.
“Iloilo has been known for its growing bicycle culture and we want bicyclist to know that the civil engineers are supportive with the current developments for them,” PICE Iloilo Chapter President Engr. Mary Earl Daryl Grio shared.
The route will stretch at approximately 18 kilometers which will start in the town proper of Miagao all the way to Barangay Banbanan and then back.
Registration is open until October 28, 2022, Friday and can be made either by contacting the PICE Iloilo Secretariat or the online registration.
A registration fee of PHP150 will be collected via GCash that will cover a post-race meal and water.
The first 100 registrants will also be given the official event shirt and everyone will get a chance to win special raffle items.
Free transport service is also available for those coming from Iloilo City and are advised to assemble at Shell Tabucan. This service will depart Iloilo City at 6:00 AM.
