The PICE Iloilo Chapter will again be bringing the oathtaking closer to Ilonggo civil engineers who passed the November 2023 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination to be held this January 30, 2024.

Due to the very high turnout last June 2023 when it hosted an oathtaking ceremony in a hotel in Iloilo City, the oathtaking ceremony will be brought back to the iconic Iloilo Convention Center at Iloilo Business Park, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

Similar to the past ceremonies hosted by the chapter, new civil engineers will be given the opportunity to already process their membership with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers.

The event registration will be PHP5,000.00 per oathtaker which is inclusive of the following:

• Food and Venue – PhP1,500
• PICE Membership Fee – PhP2,150
• Other Incidental Expenses (Technicals, Souvenir i.e. Hard Hat and PICE Pin, and Administrative Support) – PhP1,350

Guests for the event will be charged PhP1,500 per person.

The dress code for the activity will be Filipiniana for women and Barong Tagalog with Black Pants for men. Guests, meanwhile, may wear any formal attire.

The event is still undergoing approval with the Professional Regulation Commission.

Online registration will open shortly once the official approval of the event by PRC is received. All new civil engineers nationwide is welcome to take their oath in Iloilo City which was recently bestowed a title of UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
